Jules Giggie

Ms. Giggie has worked in the longterm care industry for over fourteen years.  She has been an eldercare consultant for a large healthcare company for over seven years, providing training and seminars to corporations in the Greater Boston area.  Prior to her work for SWiP, she worked as a geriatric care manager for several years at a large non-profit agency.  Her work history also includes managing a home health care agency, and direct social work in home health care, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and retirement centers.  Ms. Giggie holds a BA from Clark University and an MSSW from the University of Texas at Austin.

Harriet Lazarus

Ms. Lazarus has over 25 years of social work experience providing services to clients in hospital, outpatient, home-based, and private practice settings.  She currently works on a busy post-acute unit of a skilled rehab center and as a mental health clinician to nursing home residents.  She is a volunteer interviewer for the "Aging at Home Project: A Study of Brookline's 85 and Older Seniors," and is a certified mediator.  Ms. Lazarus holds a BA in psychology and sociology from Clark University and an MSW from Simmons College.  

Denise Lettiere

Ms. Lettiere has over twenty years of experience in the accounting and finance industry.  She attended Fisher Junior College and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Bentley College.  Ms. Lettiere enjoys traveling, horses, and boating.  Currently she volunteers with the Belmont School PTA and is in charge of finance at Great International Travel in Boston. 

Cheryl Nissenbaum

Ms. Nissenbaum has worked with older adults for the last five years.  She is a certified SHINE counselor (Serving the Health Information Needs of Elders).  In addition, Ms. Nissenbaum is well-versed in the Medicare system, including the prescription drug benefit known as Part D.  She has worked as an eldercare specialist for a  non-profit organization, a medical social worker for a home health agency, and a case manager of a guardianship program.  Ms. Nissenbaum holds a BS in bilingual education/teaching English as a second language and an MSW, both from Boston University.  

Sarah Wright

Ms. Wright is the founder of SWiP and has worked with older adults for nearly ten years.  She has served as an expert reviewer of an interactive, self-paced online training course for the Institute of Geriatric Social Work at Boston University and is currently working on another IGSW course entitled "Making Teams Work."   She has presented at the annual conferences of the Society for Social Work and Research, the National Organization of Forensic Social Work, and the Council on Social Work Education.  She also volunteers with the Asylum Network of Physicians for Human Rights.  Ms. Wright holds a BSW from The Catholic University of America and an MSW from Washington University in St. Louis.
